QUAKE 3 details
- The servers are running in "pure" mode, which means - no cheats and hacks.
- No additional weapons and maps other than default ones are installed.
- If you want to vote for an additional weapon, map, pack or whatever - write to gameadmin@visp.net.lb
- Any additional weapons, maps or whatever add-ons are to be integrity checked and downloaded from trusted sources before being applied at the dedicated game servers
- Maps are rotated automatically (on time/frag-limit).
- Each Quake3 dedicated server takes maximum 10 players.
- Brainworks-only bots are used only on VISP Quake3 dedicated servers.
- If your RTT (round-trip-time) ping to our dedicated game server network is more than 300ms, you will be denied access to join. This rule however does NOT apply to Battle.net based game servers (Warcraft, Starcraft, Diablo).
- No "warm-up" is allowed.
- "Friendly fire" is turned ON at all of our Quake3 games. It means that gunshots issued by a person of your own team will NOT cause damage to your "health".
- Voting is allowed. For the time being.

If you have older versions than the ones named above, you might suffer problems whilst playing or to be not able to connect with our game servers at all. Please, make sure you have an up to date version!
Be aware that you need the BNE (Battle.Net Edition) version of Warcraft II in order to be able to play on our game servers.
By default, none of the Blizzard games (Warcraft, StarCraft, Diablo) does allow the use of an external gaming server other than their own Battle.Net gaming network. Therefore you have to find a way to specify the hostname / IP of our gaming servers.
For StarCraft / BroodWar you can do it by using the application "Battle.Net gateway editor".
You may download it from here (http://www.visp.net.lb/bnetgweditor.exe ).
Another choice is to use the more universal gateway editor (goes for Warcraft III, StarCraft / Diablo II and Diablo II "Lord of Destruction"). You may download it from here ( http://www.visp.net.lb/bnetgwed2.exe )
For Warcraft II you have to manually edit your Windows registry for the time being. Contact VISP technical support for assistance. Soon we will release an application for Windows 2000/XP that will automatically add the game server IP address.
Bear in mind that in order to play in multiplayer Warcraft III you will need the "Warcraft III pvPGN loader". Bear in mind that the pvPGN load might not work if your version of Warcraft III is a very old one.
Warcraft II -> you can play only the "Expansion" variant. The "Classic" one does not allow to join a gaming server.
World of Warcraft -> install the game and patch it to version 1.12.1. Then open realmlist.wtf file and make it in that way: set realmlist wow.games.visp.net.lb
