You have been played a “custom game”. Custom games are only for pleasure or training. They do not have any value to your statistics and ladder.

VISP gaming servers do not allow automatic creaton of accounts for Blizzard games. Therefore you must apply for an account and our personnel will create it for you.

3. I am creating a custom game at Warcraft 3. Then my friends are not able to see it at the list of the available games. However, if they write the name and click join, they are able to join. Why does this happen ?

The issue is that your version differs from the one that your friends possesses. That is why he can not see your games, or you can not join his games (or vice versa).

Even if your Warcraft 3 game says that it is the same version as the other one, it is not really so. The server identifies the game version by looking at various details of the .exe file.

Here is an example from the server-client handshake:

“CLIENT_AUTHREQ_109 ticks=0x0193197b, verstr=1.20.2.177 exeinfo="war3.exe 01/05/06 02:50:53 1572307" versionid=0x00000014 gameversion=0x011402b1 checksum=0x97c8e59b”

As you see, the client sends its exact version (1.20.2.177), the starting filename (war3.exe), the filename date and time, filesize, checksum and etc.

That’s why, even if your games say that they are the same version (1.17a, 1.20a, 1.20c), you still won’t be able to see each other games directly.

This might happen, if you are using a different version of the pvpgn loader, or if you have cracked your Warcraft 3 game, with a “no-cd” crack from a lower version.

4. That is really an unpleasant thing. Is there some workaround so I can be able to see other games?

Yes, there is. In the chat window, write this command “/games” (withou the quotes), to see the list of available games, and their status.

Another possibility – if a person, who is marked as a “friend” of yours, is starting a game, in your chat window you will be notified about this.

5. What is the correct procedure to install Warcraft 3?

 Install Warcraft 3 Reign Of Chaos. You will need a CD-key.
 Install Warcraft 3 The Frozen Throne. You will need a CD-key.
 Apply the patch to upgrade to version 1.20c
 Install the pvpgn loader.
 Use the “Battle.net gateway editor” to create an entry for the VISP Warcraft3
server.

If you are going to use an illegal copy of Warcraft 3, then the procedure might differ.

VISP gaming servers are in a separate network segment. You will not be able to find them if searching for LAN games (with Counter-Strike or other game client).

You need to install the 1.09 version upgrade for Diablo 1. Then on the Multiplayer menu, a “Battle Net” option shall appear. Use then the “Battle.net gateway editor” to add a gateway to the VISP gaming network. When you start Diablo 1, the version will appear in the lower left side of the screen.

10. Is it true that Diablo II looks very similar to World of Warcraft ?

Damn true!!! World of Warcraft has been created by using Diablo II as a base (at least this is our opinion).

Sorry, but keeping your password is secure is a task, completely dedicated to the player. We can not recover your lost items,gold, neither we have the time to trace the person. Keep your password safe!

12. Sometimes, when joining Counter-Strike, I have to wait too long until I enter the game. Why is this?

The issue is that the current game is playing a map, which is not available locally on your PC. Therefore your Counter-Strike client is downloading the map from the VISP gaming server. A lot of the maps have a size of more than 1.5MB. So it definitely takes time. To avoid such situations, download all the maps, that are being rotated on our CS game servers.
